"O Baile" Book Cover & Design
"O Baile", in english "The Prom" is a fictitious personal editorial project that started from the idea of creating a composition from the union of a place + an object + a feeling/genre. Based on the briefing: prom + ring + suspense/romance, the first studies were carried out for the cover of the book, still without a decided title. From the choice of draft to be developed, the project is entitled "O Baile" and a good part of the graphic design of the book is developed, such as the cover, spine, back cover, flaps and chapter openings. The setting is a epoch prom where something suspicious happens involving a couple and a ring. For the illustrations of the elements present in all parts of the book and their lettering, an aesthetic was sought that referred to the classics of the time but with a contemporary language.
